Delete your account and data
Last updated: September 2026. Applies to UnityPulse accounts used with TScribe, Ureport, the browser extension and the organisation dashboard.
You can delete your UnityPulse account and the personal data attached to it yourself, at any time, without contacting us. This page is the public reference required by Google Play and the Apple App Store and applies to every way you use the account.
1. Delete from the app
- Sign in to TScribe or Ureport (web, Android or iOS).
- Open your profile.
- Choose Delete account.
- Read the confirmation, which tells you that remaining credits are forfeited, and confirm.
The account closes immediately. We send an email confirming it, with a link to restore the account within 30 days if you change your mind.
2. Ask us by email
If you cannot sign in, email support@unitypulse.io from the address on the account with the subject “Delete my account”. We will verify that it is you, then delete it and confirm by email. We respond within two business days.
3. What happens when you delete
- You are signed out on every device and in the browser extension.
- Any remaining credits are forfeited. This is stated on the confirmation screen and in the email before anything is closed.
- If you belong to an organisation, you are removed from it and its administrators are notified.
- The account is scheduled for permanent removal after 30 days.
4. What is erased
After the 30-day window, your name, email address, phone number, profile picture, specialty, settings and any templates you synced to the cloud are permanently erased. There are no reports or recordings to erase: we do not store them.
5. What survives, and why
Records we are required to keep, such as payment and transaction history, remain but are no longer linked to a named person. Security and administrative logs also remain, because a record of what happened on an account is what protects the people whose data it touched. Neither contains clinical content, because we never held any. We keep a one-way fingerprint of your email address, not the address itself, for the sole purpose of ensuring nothing is ever sent to it again.
6. The 30-day restore window
Within 30 days of deleting, you can restore the account using the link in the email we sent. Restoring puts everything back as it was, including credits. After 30 days the deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
7. Organisation accounts
If your account is managed by an organisation, an administrator there can delete it on your behalf. You are emailed when that happens and can restore it yourself within the same 30 days. If an organisation deletes itself, it chooses whether to release its members to individual accounts or delete them; anyone deleted is emailed and can restore their own account within the window, regardless of what the organisation chose.
8. Data on your device and in the extension
Templates that were not synced, interrupted drafts and your theme preference live on your device or in the browser extension, not on our servers. Deleting the account does not reach into your device. To remove them, clear the site’s data in your browser, uninstall the mobile app, or remove the extension.
9. Contact
Questions about deletion or your data rights under the NDPR: hello@unitypulse.io or the contact page. See also the Privacy Policy.
